Pastor Michael and Sis Frances Trail

Pastor Michael Trail

Pastor Michael Trail was born and raised in Penniac, New Brunswick.  In 1976, he moved to St. John’s, Newfoundland, to assist with a home missions work.  After graduating from high school in 1977, he returned to Fredericton to attend United Pentecostal Bible Institute.

Following his graduation from UPBI in 1980, he married Frances Tompkins and began pastoring in Kouchibouguac, New Brunswick.  He later served congregations in Coldstream and Minto before returning to the Bible college, now known as Northeast Christian College, as Campus Pastor in 1994.

In 2002, Pastor Trail began a home missions work in Taymouth.  A church sanctuary was built later that year, followed by a parsonage in 2006, when Pastor and Sis Trail moved to Taymouth to serve the congregation full-time.

Pastor Trail also serves as chaplain of the local fire department.  He is respected throughout the community and the UPCI Atlantic District for his faithfulness, compassion, and willingness to serve.
